About the Journal

We are an open access, non-profit, and continuous publication scientific journal that aims to promote the dissemination of national and international scientific knowledge applied to the disciplines that contribute to the development of Midwifery from a transdisciplinary perspective.

For possible publication, Revista Matronería Actual will consider original and unpublished works related to:

• Sexual and reproductive health of women and their partners
• Neonatology
• Public and community health
• Basic science and humanities applied to midwifery
• Education

Including all articles that address ethical, epistemological, anthropological, and social aspects related to the midwifery profession.
These can be:

• Original articles (quantitative or qualitative)
• Systematic review / Meta-analysis articles
• Clinical cases
• Reflection papers
